The Swedish moose
The tradition in Sweden to make things in wood goes a long way back in time. Since ancient times, we have used what was available, the trees in the woods, to manufacture everything from houses and buildings to tools, utilities and ornaments. In the forests we have also lived with, and off, the moose, which has always been an important part of the Swedish fauna. In Sverigeälgen, the Swedish moose, these two, the wood and the ”king of the forest” are united in one.

Every moose is unique!
Every moose is carved and painted by hand by skilled craftsmen, making each specimen unique. The dimensions and size are the same, but because they are made by hand, the shifts in color and carvings are unique to each moose.
